Im not posting this under the "School help" thread because... this isnt exactly a problem or something... basically, for a buttload of extra credit in a social class, im doing some very in depth reports of setions of the military....

Anyway, could somebody help me?
I dont know what its like enlisting for the marines, what its like to be rejected or accepted, and what kind of forms you need for filling out, reading, or recieving.... does anybody know the process in which they go under to join?

Ive found some enlistment forms, but they are rather outdated.

Could somebody help me find pictures of acceptance forms or enlistment forms that are current? Because I have some REALLY old ones, and I have two cousins in the marines right now... but... they are gone... in the marine corp. SO. I cant really ask them right now. Any help will be GREATLY appriciated.. if anybody goes more in depth to help me... and goes a-googling- and really helps me out... ill make it worth your while... I could use some help! Thanks!

I recommend going to a marine corps enlistment center. Tell them what you're doing, and be prepared to ask the desk sergeant a few questions, so that he or she really knows that you're serious. Most of them are very helpful, and great salesmen to boot. Be courteous, and they'll do the same for you. Make sure they know you're not under any circumstances looking into joining the Marine Corps, but that you're just doing some research on a school paper. You may even want to call ahead.

Use yahoo yellow pages, and search for marines.

You might want to ask your aunt/uncle about it, but the official Marine Corps website is pretty useful. They've got a pretty good FAQ about the process of joining.

As for the pictures of enlistment forms, no idea. If you're 17+ you might be able to get an actual form from a recruitment officer. (They're not really supposed to talk to you if you're younger.)
