I hope this gets allowed...

As a poor college student that has to do his own laundry (which isn't that bad by the way), the question of when is really the biggest concern of mine. I have enough clothes to last about two weeks, and my mom explictly encouraged me to do turn my stuff inside-out and advised on how long I could go between washes. Despite all of that, I find myself washing every week, even if I have enough clean clothes to spare. I do wash emergency loads if a natural disaster (spills, dogs, etc) occur.

I'm just curious how often everyone washes. Do not get personal!

Two notes:
1: For those that answer 'Yearly', you have my prayers.
2: The last option is for those like my yuppy cousins that are allowed to get new clothes as soon as their old stuff gets dirty/worn/taken out of the box.

As rarely as possible (this means quarterly.) Yeah, I'm a slob. But I have a lot of clothes, too.

I chose "none of the above" because we sometimes do it twice a day, once a day, and sometimes every other say. It's sporadic, and not necessarily in between any of the two options. (mostly because the only thing I really have enough of are t-shirts so my clothes are washed a lot. o_o)

Usually about twice a week, because I have very few shorts.

I do laundry every other day, not due to a lack of clothes but because I live in an apartment with a small washing machine.

Now that I have to go to a laundramat to do laundry, I do laundry a lot less than I used to. I used to do it once a week, now I do it sometimes once in two weeks, and once in a while three weeks. It's usually between one and two weeks, though. Three weeks the load just gets too big and I start running out of clean things to wear.

During the winter, I hardly do my wash at all. Like, every month, because I don't work in my every day clothes, and I don't get my clothes dirty. Why would I was it if it smells nice and is clean?

During the summer I make up for it though, because I work in my everyday clothes and I have to change like twice a day they get so dirty, so every day.

Ironically, it's winter, and as I was typing this I wasn't paying attention and dripped chocolate milk all over my pants.

when i run out of clothes i want to wear... which reminds me, i need to do some actually! but i dont have the time at the moment :( i've been wearing some bizarre combinations!

i can actually go about 3 months without washing any clothes if i'm being REALLY lazy, but its a serious job to wash it all after that long!!

I try to do laundry once a week. Sometimes, I forget about it. I can go for about a month and a half without actually doing the laundry, but then I start wearing things that I don't really like :P So, I'm trying to get into a routine of doing laundry every weekend. It's tough, although I did move into this apartment partly because I get my own washer and dryer <3

Once or twice a week usually as it's only washing for two people. My mum on the other hand has to do one a day at least as it's for four people, two of them very mucky boys heh ^^

every tow weeks or so, or when I start to run out of things to wear. I don't mind doing the wash at all, but i absolutly hate folding everything. like socks and pants aren't that bad, but shirts are a pain, so I usually get lazy and don't even bother.
