My stepdad took this picture while on vacation in Carlsbad New Mexico. This is taken from the observation deck near the Carlsbad Caverns. He didn't hear anything or see it. He only saw this when he was looking through vacation pictures. Photobucket resized this, but the original picture is huge. I think it sort of looks like a blimp, but it it is still interesting. I have used adobe and other programs to try to zoom in on it more or sharpen it up. It looks more blimplike to me than it looks like a disk. But even it if is a blimp I don't know how a no one noticed it. I think of blimps as slow, but maybe this is a new kind that can go really fast.

I've also contacted rense.com and coasttocoastam.com with this picture, so I am going to see what other people think about it. Hopefully they will post it in the next few hours or tomarrow.

Besides the craft in the sky there appears to be a white dot in the tree in the middle, but I don't know what that is.

In the lower left near a bush there appears to be a white x or cross shape, but it could just be two sticks of desert plants that fell on the ground in that shape. I just noticed that so I don't know what that is.

Beautiful landscape though.

Yeah, he took some amazing pictures of the landscape such as the painted desert and the grand canyon and other areas they visited on their trip. I think that was the only one with a shape in it, but I am going to go back and look at all the pictures again tomarrow. Maybe I will find another one he missed.

I did notice one picture of a rainbow and it looks like a sad face is looking down from the clouds. Once I pointed it out he said he could see it too. But well, faces in clouds and rainbows don't interest people as much as ufos do.

Taking another glace at the pic, it looks like a Runabout from Star Trek or a Puddle Jumper from Stargate. Interesting what you see when you want to make shapes out of things

More like a shuttlecraft... or the Delta Flyer from Star Trek...

But really... I think its just a biiiig coincidence!

It's quite obviously the primary hull of an enterprise ship that has yet again been detached from the engines in order to crash into yet another planet after yet again ending up in a different timespace.

Now I know where my Frisbee went...

It does look like a UFO, but it's probably some secret government aircraft that they're flying for testing purposes.

I think it could be a blimp.

There is no chance in hell that it is a helicopter, it doesn't have the right shape, no roof propeller, or tail propeller, and helicopters are noisy. Smudge's stepdad didn't hear a thing.

This is the huge picture I just put it online because the photobucket was resizing it and it wasn't doing the picture justice. I think from the larger picture you can see how strange it is.
