Is anyone else taking AP tests? If so, which ones and when?

I'm taking WHAP, Wednesday afternoon.

AP Comp Sci tomorrow morning. It sucks. I just got back from a robotics competition, which means I missed last week... the review week.

Good luck to all you AP test takers!

Iced - Silver [dot] Net ... now go. And maybe someday I'll actually get up something that resembles a pretty sig.

*twitches*

AP English Literature Thursday, AP US Government next Tuesday, and AP Macroeconomics next Thursday (all in the morning at 8 am). I'm worried about all of them obviously, but I'm worried about Macroeco. the most because I haven't studied it since December.

I really can't wait until the tests are over, because then I can play with my new laptop. :P

I took AP English (both of 'em) AP Chem and AP History. Chem and History got me out of the freshman-level courses in college, because I got 5s on both.

Good luck.

I've got my WHAP (AP World History) test tomorrow. I think I'm going to do pretty well. Most colleges don't even have a course that matches that, so I figure the only point is to get sophomores used to the AP program.

Good luck on AP exams to all who are taking them. I am so happy I'm past that point in my life. They are definitely helpful in college though!

Back when I was taking exams for school it was my favorite part of the school year. It was my chance to really boost my grade since I had been a slacker most of the year with my work. Tests are almost always easy for me.

Well, I took my WHAP test today. I screwed up some on one of the essays (it was the Change Over Time one, I accidentally talked about the changes in two civilizatons when I was only suppossed to choose one). I definitely think I got a 4, but I might have gotten a 5. Either way, I'm proud of myself for even taking it.

AP Literature tomorrow, AP Language two days ago, AP Bio Monday. Language was sooo much easier than my Lit practice tests, because how many different ways can you interpret non-fiction? Oh, and my Bio practice test tells me I really need to study plants, but I'm good with the stuff we covered at the beginning of the year.

By the way, I've heard AP History has to resort to really trivial questions - is that true?

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.

There was some of that going on, but I can't include any specifics for obvious reasons. I'm good at that kind of thing, though.

I'm not taking the test this year, but I probably will be next year. A few of my friends (ok a lot of my friends) are taking them/have taken them. Good luck to those taking them!

Hah! As it turns out, my Lit test turned out to be a lot easier than my Lit practice tests, too! (The multiple-choice parts, anyway.)

Either they're dumbing down the test, or practice tests are supposed to be harder so you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm graduating from college in a week, so it's been a while, but I did take three AP tests in high school. I took AP US History my sophomore year and got a 5, and I got 4's on both the AP Biology and AP Comparative Government tests my senior year. Strangely enough, the two tests where I got 4's have proved to be more beneficial to me in college. AP Bio got me out of the university science core, and AP Comparative got me out of taking Comparative Government, a core for my political science major, and the class about which every poli sci major (except for me- haha!) has horror stories. All getting a 5 on AP US History got me was 4 credits for a "History elective." I still had to take a really lame history class last year to fill my history core.
