In the future it might be better if everyone drove really tiny feul efficient cars. I wouldn't mind driving one if everyone else did. But pair one up against a giant SUV or an 18 Wheeler and you'd be squashed like a bug.

Would you drive one?

Really, I think they are kind of nerdy but I might drive one if more people were.

funny.
today I saw a smart car going down the highway as i walked with my friend. I said I wanted my own go-cart like cart. My friend said I was "so nerdy".

I wouldn't drive one just because it looks so feeble and small. you can only seat 2 people and the wheels seem so small. It really is like a go cart instead of a smart-car.

I may be alone in thinking this, but that car is kind of adorable.

hehe yeah, crash and die.

I hate small cars unless they are sports cars. But the smart is just ridiculous.

A lot of people have smart cars around here. To be honest though, considering how people drive Id rather have a car that could withstand impact than one that can withstand gas prices.

A big factor would be why it's called a "smart car", because other technology called "smart" has a history of being unbelievably dumb. Anyway, I'd like to have fuel efficiency, but I'd also like passengers, not to mention lots of bells and whistles, so it's a Prius for me.

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.

this was a test crash for a smart car ;) you can probably figure out why I don't think they are safe :P
They claim they are safe but in every video I've seen you honestly would have lost your legs.

Speaking of small cars, I drive my Hotwheels(tm) to school every day. While other kids Mom's need to shell out hundreds on cars, my Mom got mine on a two for one deal at wallmat. :D

I think it's kind of nerdy looking imo, and for that reason I might not want to drive one. I think I could drive that more comfortably than a regular car just because it doesn't have as much bulk to worry about. When I drive I'm always concious of that right side of the car sticking out over there. With motorcycles and bikes it's much easier for me to center myself in the road.

I'm not one for the British idea of a car. Give me a Dodge Charger SRT-8 with 425 ponies under the hood getting 19 MPG on the highway and an initial $2000 dollar gas guzzler tax over a car that'll get 60 MPG and have a risk of killing me even in the most minor accident.

My dad's had a Smart for 3 years ^_^

It really helps him keep his fuel prices down and because its usually only him driving to work (we have another family car which can fit all of us) its very handy, despite being only 2 seater. (Well, we're all used to him having a 2 seater car, the only difference between his Smart and his Corvete is the fact that his Smart uses waaaaay less petrol and doesn't break down every other week :P )

And you can actually get 4 (or 5.. can't remember) seater Smart cars, they're called.... Smart Roadsters I think. :)

Haha, it reminds me of the people in Dr. Evil's lair cramping up in their tiny cars on Austin Powers. xD

Yeah, but they were driving Mini's which are made by BMW.

The Smart Car isn't British, it's German. I don't get what you're really saying anyway. We don't all drive Minis.

I didn't mean the build, I just meant the size.
