As the clumping together of birthdays happens more regularly, more people will join the clumps. At first they'll just be +-a week or so as now, but soon it'll be friends and family celebrating birthdays even though they're a month or two apart. They'll meet somewhere in the middle.

Eventually these groupings will celebrate together by compromising further and joining other groups until all celebrate on the same day.

Which would probably be sometime in Christember.

Oh, I was assuming it would be a sudden switch; it's more of a transition, I guess.
