7-7-07

Everyone is talking about this up coming day. It will be a perfect day. Nothing can go wrong on a day like that. Right?

What are your plans? My sister is getting married! It will probably rain, the food will be awful, someone will get in an accident on the way there or something, just because we are expecting perfection.

What do you think?

I for one think that people put too much faith in numbers like that. And for that reason, we expect too much.

Also, some people out there might decide it is the perfect day to unleash something terrible upon our society.

I'll be halfway through my family vacation that we're having this year. Ironically enough, we'll probably be in or near Las Vegas on that day.

Well, they're planning to reveal the NEW 7 wonders of the world on that day (especially since only one of the current world wonders still exists)

You can go vote up until then: http://www.new7wonders.com/index.php & make history!!

I think Live Earth is on that day, so I'll be tuning in to watch it.

Or working.

I have two coworkers who have that birthday. Considering how small of an area I work in, that's next to impossible (there's may, 15 people in my area?).

Is that really when Live Earth is? That's the same day of the aniversary of the London bombings.. It'll be intresting to see if the ceremonies coincide with the concert.

Wow, I had no idea about the new 7 Wonders of the World thing.

And I totally forgot about Live Earth being that day.

Guess I do have something to watch!

I think it's really interesting that people think it will be the perfect day - we all know that everyone's interests conflict on some level, so one person's perfect day by definitions ruins someone else's.

Personally, I don't really believe in this superstition (certainly there was no apocalypse on 6/6/06) so I don't think that anything special will happen...if it does, it's a coincidence.

I don't think anything special will happen on that day. Just the same as any other day (well, most days). Remember 6-6-2006 and that nothing special happened that day?

It would have been perfect for the release of the the 7th Harry Potter Book 8) ... though I think it will turn out to be an otherwise normal day.
