Surely I'm not the only person here who fell in love with the comic strip Foxtrot, and surely I'm not the only one who was heartbroken when Bill Amend made it a Sunday-only strip. Well, today's strip inspired me to put together a little anthology of some Foxtrot at its nerdiest, and I think you'll like it.
Of course, this is just a sampling of the wonders to have come out of this incredible comic.

I've never been one for Foxtrot. I've seen it in the paper a couple of times. I guess it's because I'm so horrible at math.

That Fantasy football looks cool...

You mean the capital sigma used as the summation symbol? You just add the numbers in series. This example: sum of all k-values from k=1 to k =3. 1+2+3 = 6. Hope that helps.
The integral becomes x^3 from 1 to 2 so 2^3 - 1^3 = 8-1= 7. Hope that helps too.
