There is a new breed of pig discovered and it has fleece like a sheep. Scientists are very interested. I mean, you can get wool AND meat!

But..I don't know if I'd want to wear 1OO% swine wool sweater. I guess there isn't anything wrong with it, but it kind of has that ick factor, you know? It is just different.

I like how everyone in the article is pretty much like, "Look! A new animal! Now, how can we slaughter it to fit our needs?!?111".

Still pretty cool, though.

Well I can't say I see the difference. Wool is wool.
Never liked it, never will. Even if they start getting it from pigs.

That sort of makes me wonder what would happen to the sheep if they got replaced with the odd pigs, though. Would they set them free? "We don't need you anymore, you're free!"

Nah, not likely ...but it really does make me wonder.

DON'T. GIVE. THEM. IDEAS!

(I live in New Zealand. Teach them the concept of freedom and they'll destroy us all!)

We didn't become the superior species by being nice to all the mean nastys in the world.
We became really superior by slaughtering anything that is vaguely useful of course.

Animal Farm in practice, eh? I like the life imitating art, but I don't like the idea of being made into a paper-thin paddy for a cow to eat. (Mostly since I would be mostly fat and low in nutrients. Not something the cows would want to eat. THe ducks on the other hand... I have my eyes on them!)

Doesn't stop it being available though.
You get food from Spiders. I wouldn't advise it as it tastes nasty (Like Limes but... Nasty) but there we go.

Yeah, you can alter a cell to create other species...
If that made sense, probably not though..

Basically you can use a pig cell to create a Human Organ, of course the Media went nuts over it saying Werewolves and nonsense like that.
