Now,you see,a few days ago we got some Dwarf Bunnies. They were with eachother from the start. They always seemed to love eachother(as in grooming eachother, cuddling),but we were sure both were male,so we thought of it as brotherly love, but were never totally were sure because they are still too young to correctly tell their gender.

There names are Clay and George, and even though I will probably need to change one, they still go by that for now.

Anyway, mom saw Clay doing something that looked like the nasty. She probably stopped him. Anyway,I was reading in bed and I looked up and cought him doing it again. Totally sickened,I pushed him off untill he left George alone, who greatfully retreated to his block house. Had to keep at him untill Clay gave up.

At any rate,we have no idea of their age. So first of all,is there a way to tell? We could always ask who we got them from, but that would take longer.. And second, what age do they start mating? I'm very afraid we will end up with baby bunnies, thus more pets because we would not have the heart to get rid of them.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

EDIT: Okay,I found out when males become sextually mature..but..uhhh..I still need to know if there is a way to tell age..

You probably will have to get the vet to give you an idea of how old they are. I can tell you though, if their ears are really small, then they're less than a year.

About what they're doing, don't worry about it. I had two female rabbits, and they did that alot. I think it's just because it's mating season.

We had the same problem when I had rabbit like 10 years ago or something (yikes am I really that old?). Mine were named Sandy and Coal. We ended up getting separate cages for them. One thing I remember is Sandy (the male) was bigger than Coal. Sandy was also a lot more bold. I don't know if that was just particular to the two of them or if it is part of the difference between girl and boy bunnies.

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

Take them to the vets, they should be able to tell you.

Then agian, my friend's rabbit 'got the snip' and a while later there were baby bunnies. HMPH.

Well I would think one of the other rabbits was a female, but often if its around mating season an d there are no or a lack of females, male animals sometimes, get well, a little anxious, I'll say.

Clay and George...just imagining...ah, nevermind.

Anyway, yeah, that is very nasty. Ugh. I think everyone else has given the right advice. Maybe Clay and Georgina?

Remember kids, it doesn't matter what gender you are... Just as long as you love Zero!

If they keep going at it, can I have one? I want a bunny. :D
