as opposed to going to the Movie Theatre. My grandfather convinced me to go to watch Garfield because my sister wanted to. There were about ten people there, the fifteen of us --- Me, My sister, my dad, mom, and grandfather --- and about ten other people. During the movie I heard what sounded like a muffled cough and water hitting the floor. I looked down at my shoes and saw multi-colored water at my feet ---- What was that kid drinking?! And two middle-ages men just needed a place to make out in the very back, for two hours. One kid repeated EVERY SINGLE WORD he heard on the movie. Another kicked the back of my seat and made clicking noises with his tongue, and later spilled a Big Gulp he got from 7/11 on me, soaking me and my popcorn. On the out of the Garfeild Movie Theatre, I saw two people I knew coming out of the Farenheit 9/11 theatre --- the movie I tryed to convince my parents to watch by myself, and even pay my own way, but failed --- thank god they didn't see me. I needed to use the bathroom badly after the movie and took one step in the bathroom and told myself I could wait. The thing was FILTHY. When we pulled up to the driveway I had to use the bathroom so bad it hurt, and even had to loosen up my belt three notchs on the way home. Well, sorry for ranting on and on, I'm going to go back to downloading movies.

Wow... It's probably just the movie theater, I've never experienced that at any movie theater.

And I also hope you pay for your movies when you download them.

Relax, I pay 99c a month for it, so it's not ENTIRELY illegal, otherwise the people I download it from would be out of buisness.

Hmm.. Interesting

I love going to movies, and that much stuff never happened to me. But you went to a movie with kids, so that's why there was so much havoc...

I offered to pay for my own admisson, candy, drinks, and popcorn so I could see Farenheit 9/11; a movie I've been wanting to watch since it came out.

i was at the cinema the other week, and the people in the cinema must have had the smallest bladders coz they were constantly up and down, most of the people there went out to, i can only assume, go to the loo during the film....

People at the movie theaters here are pretty polite.
Though.... once during a movie I got hit with water, toast, rice, confetti, and toilet paper.... But it was The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and you're supposed to throw stuff at each other.

The people here are pretty normal. I found that the "kid" movies often have that kind of stuff going on after the movie has been out for about 3 weeks or so. Thats why I try and go to the movies I want to see when they come out or get them off NetFlix(DVD renting place, rent all the movies you want for a month for like $20).

Hehe, today I saw the premier of I,robot [ First showing in my country ] and there were 2 men making out in the seats right in front of me. And it was blocking the space between the 2 chairs, of which I was trying to see through, since all the rows are build on the same level...

Although thank god there was no kicking from behind.

I can sympathize. Whenever I got to the movies, I somehow always end up sitting next to some woman who has to explain every scene to her kid. And, the kid is always loudly whispering "What just happened?" My motto: If the kid isn't old enough to understand the movie, don't bring him.

It is so much easier to watch a DVD on my computer or DVD player. Now days they are almost as cheap as the movie ticket, once you throw in the outrageous price of popcorn and pop. You can rewind it if you zone out and miss something or don't understand what just happened. You can pause it to go to the fridge for a snack or to go for a bathroom break. And, best of all, you don't have to deal with all of the strange beings that seem to hang out at movie theatres.

I like going to the movie theaters, but the only problem is someone always have to kick my chair from the behind or put their feet on the top of my chair, I find it rather annoying. I also hate when young children are around and are making noise like talking to there parents, asking that they need something. I also don't like it when people are talking to other people or talking on their cells. Oh well, going out to the theaters aren't all bad experiences, but you just might get lucky.

It's fairly easy to avoid young children, just go to a later show and try to steer away from movies that kids can see without any problems (G, PG movies). As for the other problems, I've been lucky so far and only have gotten a kick in the chair a few times. The worst time I had at a movie was when I went to see The Two towers with a friend. Considering that was the second time I've seen it and my friend hadn't seen it before OR read the book, she kept asking me questions about what was going to happen and such. I eventually got angry and told her to keep watching to find out.

He threw up? That happened to me once. The kid was right next to me and the smell was so bad I left right away. I haven't been to as many since, and I try to avoid movies that will have either little kids or lots of people.

I also hate it when you have a bunch of giggling teenage girls surrounding you.
