Let's see, what has happened today...

8 years ago, morning-ish: I got my tonsils removed. This resulted in me missing two weeks of school and having to live off of ice cream and other soft food for that time. It's wasn't as pleasant as it sounded though, my throat hurt and I couldn't speak for most of that time.

6 years ago, roughy 12:20 pm EDT: My dad died from a heart attack. I won't go into much detail here to save myself from getting further depressed. I still haven't completely recovered emotionally from it.

5 years ago: Neopets was created. The ONLY good thing that ever happened to me on this date.

So...yeah. I kinda felt like I had to get that out. Sorry for wasting your time.

Yeah I know how your feel... Today I had a sizable group presentation due. I was the leader partially because I'm the only one who really knew powerpoint (I worked on it for 6 hours on Sat). Anyway, one of the group memebers emails me his part of the power point at 11 PM last night when the whole thing is due at 10 this morning. When I finally get a chance to look at what he gave me, it is clear that he did 15 minutes worth of research, if that. So we had to shuffle the whole presentation around and give him half of someone else's material. Finally we're in the presentation and we look around and someone says "Where's Erica?". She never showed up. I did her part of the powerpoint and we had to appolgise to the class for not having the required handouts because she was supposed to bring them.

Sorry for adding to the gripe, I know it isnt' like your dad dying, but still I'm in a bad mood right now...

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

*hugs*

I'm sorry DN...I know how painful it can be to lose someone as its been happening to me fairly often lately, but I can't imagine how painful that must be to lose someone so close. All of us kids gripe and complain about our parents (me included) but I don't know how I'd manage if something happened to one of them. If you ever need someone to talk to you can come to me, I'm a good listener.

"Sorry for wasting your time."

Don't feel that way...it's good that you let it out, it isn't healthy to keep things bottled up inside.
