I've had a mega-huge crush on a girl at school(she was in my class last year) for over a year now...after I kept staring at her over and over, she noticed and would sometimes come to where I was and stare at me but I was too shy to look directly into her eyes but sometimes it happened...but I would quickly turn my head away and do something....

We were both in the same class(we don't go to different classes for each subject) last year(9th grade) but we got separated in 10th grade(starting in May)...but she would still stare at me while I pretended to ignore her till July and then now, she completely ignores me every time I see her on the corridor....

I really LOVE her and don't know what to do...she's really pretty but I don't exactly like her for her looks but also because she's really smart, sweet, cute and all that stuff...*sigh* If only we weren't separated in 10th grade...

Well, what can you suggest? Also, this year(10th grade) is really important for me...the final exams(in April 2005) decide my future...maybe I should wait until the exams are over and I'm in 11th grade?

Just wait until it feels right. You could also try approaching it slowly. Try talking to her, get to know her a bit more, and drag the conversation slowly in the direction of asking her on a date. I found that helps a bit with the nervousness.

The idea that exams in grade 10 effect the rest of your life is the biggest lie in history. Just have fun and go for it!

You have been sending this girl mixed messages so its no wonder she is ignoring you right now. The best thing to do is next time you see her, say "Hi!" if she talks back to you then all is good, if she ignores you again that its not so good. My guess is that she will speak to you as it sounds like she was definatley interested in you at the beginning, now you just need to let her know that you are still interested in her. If you can get a conversation going, then just come straight to the point and ask her if she wants to do something after school sometime. The worst that can happen is that she says no, then at least you will know where you stand and you can move on from there. Good luck!!

Oh and coming2atvnearu, I'm not lying. Thats just how it is in India. You have to take some kinda group in 11th grade and you can't do that unless you've got good marks in the 10th grade final exams...
