I just found out today that yesterday, early in the morning, a close friend of mine's brother was coming home with his girlfriend at 4:00 AM or so. He pulled into the driveway, and some guys came up, blindfolded the girlfriend, took the boyfriend into the house, got all the money, killed the boyfriend, and then unblindfolded the girlfriend and drove off, leaving the girl with her murdered boyfriend.

You hear all these stories about murder, and they don't always have an effect on you, but when it happens to someone who is somewhat close to you......Wow.

Wow. I'm so sorry for your friends brother. I can't believe people would actually do things like this. It's unreasonable and dispicable.

I'm very sorry :(

All I can say is that it is truely terrible, all you can do is pressure the police to work towards convicting the buggers...

I know how you feel. In fact, a distant friend of mine (I didn't know him very well because he went to my school but was in a grade below me) just died today. He wasn't murdered, but he was killed in a car accident. I was shocked when I heard about it. Usually I wouldn't pay much attention to something like this, because I realize that people do die every day, but because it has happened to somebody that I know... It just seems so much more real.

That really sucks, people are quite nuts these days I am very convinced of that...but it must be wierd hearing something like that from someone you atkeast have met before. Its easy to forget about it if you here it on the news but its scary when it happens not too far from home.

Thanks, everyone. I really don't understand why people would do something like that. The even sadder thing was, the boyfriend and girlfriend were supposed to be leaving for New York last night. They were gonna be married in 2 weeks.

OMG!!! I never think that things like that can actually happen in real life. That is just absolutely horrible. I'm really sorry to hear that. People like that make me so angry.

I hope they are caught and put it in prison. With the charges they're going to get...man one and Burglary, they'll be in prison 25 to life (it depends on the prosecutor and who actually did the killing.)

That's awful :(, it's like something you see only on t.v. I can't imagine how awful it must be for the girlfriend her family and the family of her boyfriend. It's makes you think about life, how it can be taken away from you any second. Guess that's why it's important to always live it to the fullest and be content with yourself along the way. I wish you and your friend's the very best in this tragic event :(, hopefully all of you can find comfort and support in each other to get through this.
