What girls actually mean...

Girls' English

Yes = No

No = Yes

May-b = No

"It's your decision" = The correct decision should be obvious by now!

"Do what u want" = You'll pay 4 this later!

"Sure......Go ahead" = I don't want you too.

"I'm not upset" = Of course I'm upset, u stupid moron!

"How much do u love me?" = I did something today your not goin' like me 4.

"Am I fat?" = Tell me i'm beautiful.

"You have to learn to communicate!" = Just agree with me.

"Are you listening to me?" = Too late, you're dead!

-----------------------------------

FINE

This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES

This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

NOTHING

This means "something", and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with 'Fine'.

GO AHEAD (With Raised Eyebrows)

This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine".

GO AHEAD (Normal Eyebrows)

This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care" You will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

LOUD SIGH

This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

THAT'S OKAY

This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a "Raised Eyebrow.

GO AHEAD.

At some point in the near future, you are going to be in some mighty big trouble.

PLEASE DO

This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance with the truth, so be careful
and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay."

THANKS

A woman is thanking you. Do not faint. Just say you're welcome.

THANKS A LOT

This is much different from "Thanks." A woman will say, "Thanks A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh." Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh," as she will only tell you "Nothing."

I'm offended too. This would probably be better off on the Guy's board...

As am I. I agree with you, Fzun.

I agree with the last few to post. I don't like sexism, even minor things such as this. I don't care for it when it's done to men, either, so don't go off saying "lyke omg feminism i keel u".

Sun Jan 30, 2005 2:38 am

I am too.

No offense, but you are posting quite a few inappropriate topics. Like that chinese one...

I think they're pretty true actually. I caught myself saying "Fine" in an arguement with my boyfriend and almost died laughing. Poor chap was so confused.

I suppose that it would be different if it was about Blokes....

I've read these elsewhere and they are rather true sometimes. The differences between the communication styles between males and females have been the butt of many jokes and I don't see anything to be upset about.

The thing to be upset about is that basically this topic states that women always say the opposite of what they mean, which is complete generalization, if not considered sexism.

And again, Twinkle, it's not any different. I don't go in topics and participate if it's about men either.

I found them amusing. Quite sorry to sound nasty, but 80% of girls I know are just like that.

Tue Feb 01, 2005 4:22 am

Ouch.

Some of them may be somewhat true....

*glances around for girlfriend*

....but that is pushing it.

*smiles anyways*

Tue Feb 01, 2005 5:32 am

Yep. All girls talk like that. o.O Maybe this would be funny if I was a guy?

>.>

Granted, yes, some of them are true. But I still find them offensive, cause not everyone's like that. It's stereotyping females.
