They called Dragostea Din Tei an opera song. -_- Now whenever hears that song, they automatically think of this animation. They don't even know the name! They think it's called Numa Numa. Thanks for ruining a great song.

I've seen that ten or so times already, didn't make me laugh at all. Not even at the first time.

Who says the lyrics are idiotic? If you speak Romanian, they aren't at all.

I say.
You should check the translation before asking, you know? I didn't mean it's stupid because of the language, it's ACTUALLY stupid for the lyrics.
Aww, c'mon(taking this from some random website):
- Verse 2 -
"Hello [on a cellphone], greetings, it's me, an outlaw,
I ask you, my love, to accept happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal], and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you."
- Verse 4 -
I call you [over the phone], to tell you what I feel right now,
Hello, my love, it's me, your happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me again, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal] and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you."
There's nothing good in those lyrics.

-shrug- The translation I found was a bit more poetic than that. And you're forgetting the whole bit with the numa-numa iei and the linden trees and all that...
