A groaner...

Fri Mar 25, 2005 2:28 am

Don't kill me :P

When Beethoven passed away, he was buried in a churchyard.
A couple of days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetary when he heard a strange noise coming from Beethoven's grave,
Terrified the drunk ran and got the priest to come and listen to it. The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognisable music coming from the grave.
Frightened, the priest ran and got the town magistrate.
When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment, and said, "That's the Eighth Symphony, and it's backwards, too! Most puzzling."
So the magistrate kept listening, "There's the Seventh...the Sixth...the Fifth..."
Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned upon him.
He stood up and announced to the crowd that had gathered in the cemetary, "My fellow citizens," he said. "There's nothing to worry about. It's just Beethoven decomposing."

I liked it :P, thought it was cute. I always enjoy jokes I haven't heard before even if it's one that just makes me giggle.

It's almost as bad as:

What's white and can't climb trees?

Wait for it

It'll come soon

Nearly there

Ok next one

Keep going!

<.< Apple, TDG?

That was pretty cute, actually. Most of the time I've heard jokes like these, and I hadn't heard that one yet. I'll have to tell my mom, she'll like it, I think.

... Decomposing... ^_^;

Gah! It's the attack of the puns! AAAAAAH! *Runs into a wall*

Man, I love puns like this. My dad makes corny jokes like this all the time. We also have this priest at our school that will crack jokes like that too, it's so hilarious because of what he always looks like when he's saying it (he's this little, timid looking priest, and he always says it with the straightest face).

I adore cheesey jokes. ^___^ This one was cute. I think my theatre teacher will get a kick out of this. He makes corny jokes all the time that take you a while to get and once you do, your first instinct is to slap your forehead and groan. :P
