(the 'quail's egg' is not really a quail's egg...^^;; They seem to use the term a lot with regard to eggs, it's also in the Doraemon bento too, but looks completely different. In this case, it looks like either a boiled or pickled egg...maybe pickled in beet juice to obtain the color?)
