I've never seen the pun in that particular form, but I've definitely heard it before. (Best executed on the Simpsons episode where Homer is Mayor Quimby's bodyguard.)

I saw that many eons ago in an offical Star Wars magazine. Still not funny. I agree with Thark. It was best when Luke said it.
