If you're feeling down and blue and need a little pick-me-up, then this is the place to be people!

Just out of curiousity, seeing as I shocked myself today on my arcade game getting the quarters out of it(again), have you ever electricuted/shocked yourself? If so, how'd ya do it?

Oh sure, lotsa times. I licked a nine-volt battery once, for one; I've shocked myself on power outlets a couple of times, and I accidentally put my finger in an active light socket - that one was a stinger, lemme tell you.
And, I'm proud to say, me it had effects any hasn't on at all.

Hm, well lately for the past two weeks, I am continuously getting shocked. I don't know what's wrong with the environment around me, but I can't seem to go through the day without getting shocked by something.
It's the universe telling me it hates me I bet.

Why would you lick a nine-volt battery?

Once I was changing a fuse in my electrical panel and accidently stuck my finger in the socket. my body went rigid for a second and my arm went numb. I could feel it run from one arm to the othre. Very strange feeling. Only lasted a second, but I had a headache for a while.
and licking a nine-volt battery is cool, you can feel the shock on your tongue. Try it!

It's a way to tell if it still has a charge.
And I've never been actually eletrocuted, but I frequently get shocked by static electricity; mostly in grocery stores and the like.

I usually only get lightly shocked by touching car doors.. ow? XD

Not much, but wonderful story to relate:
Last year, on the first day of a computer-related class, one of the folks was plugging in a computer. First day, remember, nothing too complex. It's very introductory, so the first day really isn't anything big. So anyway, he's sticking this plug into the wall. His finger... you know where this is headed, I'm sure... is on the plug. He just finished lunch, and a bit of soda spilled on his hand, so it's wet. He plugs in the power cord, only to be zapped by the thing.
A lovely way to start off any year.

Question is rather; Why wouldn't you?
It's fun.

I was on my cousin's ranch, and there's this HUGE (really... really... BIG) Bull next door. The bull is a sweetie, he comes up to the fence and lets you pet him... but what I DIDN'T know is that it's an electric fence, set at a voltage that will discourage that bull from going through it.
I touched the wire and all the electricity that was set for a practically 2 ton bull went through my 160 pound body.
OW.

That always happens to me. I close car doors with my feet now
A few years ago I was trying to feed cows and leant on the electric wire on the fence. I pulled my hand back quickly and cut my wrist on the barbed wire. That fence was evil.

Once when I was a kid I went to plug in some christmas lights and I got shocked. I don't remember it hurting. What I remember is that I couldn't let go and my whole arm was shaking. It scared me because I couldn't let go, but it was also kind of interesting in a way.
I also have a black cat that has static electricity in it's fur some days. So sometimes when I pet him we both get shocked.

Heh. Thunderous.
I remember the first and last time I licked a 9-volt battery. I was just sitting at me computer, saw it there, licked it, and then
damnit, why the !@#$ did I just do that?
