That's because red and green are contrasting colours - if you look at one for a long time, then make it disappear, you'll see the one which is on the opposite side of the colour wheel

Oh my. I was listening to this really wierd instrumental part of the song that was playing on my mp3 player and then it said "You've been busy clicking away at this big red button ... when all the while a little white button has watched your every move ..." (And I was clicking and reading pretty quickly ..)
Anyway. The combination creeped me out. And I'm alone in the house right now, too. *cries*

There really is a little white button, but it's kinda a letdown. It's in the top left corner of the screen the second time it won't talk to you. If that makes sense...
