"Final Fantasy Cronicles" Question

Hi. I've been thinking about Buying The PS1 Game "Final Fantasy Cronicles", which has FF5 and Crono Cross on it. Now when they say Final Fantasy 5, do they mean the 5th one that was released in japan? Or is it the 5th one in the USA? (Ex: Because like, FF3 USA was FF6 JAPAN?)

I believe that Final fantasy chronicles has final fantasy IV (which was released in the US as final fantasy II) and Chrono Trigger on it.

Oh ok. I watched a Flash movie on Newgrounds.com called "Final Fantasy A+" I really liked the battle music and such

It said the music was from FF5, so I got curious, and I'm gonna buy it soon
