X-men Legends 2 (for Game Cube)

I finally caved and ordered the game, has anyopne played it is it better or worse then the first. How does the game play differ, I got the walk through book and sadly I am NOT impressed with the maps, nor do they give you a suggested team for each level like the old book did, so I am hoping this game isnt impossible..
