The name of the game? Found

I know this is a long shot but on the off chance someone knowing what it is I'll ask.

I've been looking for a PS1 game where the main character transforms into different monsters by drinking the potion that respective monster leaves behind, one thing I do remember about this game is that you need to sneak up on poachers by transforming into the correct monster, the correct monster was a pollywag, and by transforming it triggers a cut scene where you r character as the polywag bites one of the poachers.

Does anybody know what this game was?

There's no pokemon games for anything not nintendo. do you mean tadpole or something?

The name was definitely polywag(as in the other name for a tadpole, I might be spelling it wrong.)

Yeah, polliwog is the stage between tadpole and adult frog.

Anyway, I looked high and low and can't find anything. Do you know anything else about the game that might help?

I found the game, I had a couple things wrong, you eat a coin rather than drink a potion to transform, but it is definitely the game I was thinking of, all I had to do was put transform into a pollywog into google and it game up.
