Entropia?

So, I have a few friends who are raving about how great entropia is as a virtual world sorta place. They're huge fans - but I tend to be the kind of person who commits to something fully, at the expense of sunlight, friendships, or eating. So before I do that, I'm sort of curious: anybody here immersed themselves on it before? Any reviews?

BTW: Sad to say, my favorite interactive world is still a good old-fashioned text-based MUD called realms of despair. Sad, innit?

What is it, exactly? Do you have a link? I'd be willing to at least glance at it, and then go from there.

It's one of them thar install-to-play games, similar to second life in terms of things like hardware requirements and a real-cash economy (though very different in terms of implementation).
