I recently saw a preview for this game on TV, and it really looked soo cool!
Like... an example: you can see the emotions of people in the park, in the rollercoaster they scream and some people begin to cry because it's too fast and such,
also there is a nice cam that makes it seem like you're in the rollercoaster you just made.
also there is a possibility move your cam freely all over the map, very smooth, also 5 different building styles, you can add your own MP3s in the game (to get rid of those stupid musics xD), your animators have cool animations (breakdancing pandas are cool) there also are: night function, people who come in as a group and recognize each other and can make new friends in the park, really cool graphics, different face styles, ages, new attractions, and my favorite part of the game: a way you can make a park (without visitors can come) where you can place unlimited attractions with an unlimited amount of money!
In short: it's a game i'm gonna buy

I'll probably buy it, seeing as I was obsessed with the first one when it came out and got two expansion packs for it. That, and if this one is a big improvement over the previous versions (like Roller Coaster Tycoon 2), it'll definitely be worth it.

One Question: Are they all little men with pointy hair, or are there finally some female characters in this game? I NEED TO KNOW!!! O_O

Three...? I don't even have two yet! I guess that's just as well though, 2 sounded like it was virtually the same thing as 1, just in a shinier package.
Anyway, sounds like this sequel will be worth the buy. I've always wanted to see what some of my coasters were like, and I also always wanted to see what it was like when my coasters crashed!

There are both genders in the game.
I downloaded the demo version from the Atari website, and I wasn't impressed. Actually, the only thing I liked was the new CoasterCam, which lets you ride the coasters you create.
The camera was extremely hard to control, and the controls to use it are difficult to learn. There is a completely different layout than the first two games, with many useless buttons you have to click to finally get to what you want.
Unless the real version is better than the demo, I won't be buying it.

Considering the differences between one and two were non existant, and camera cam has already been done by Sim Coaster or Sim Themepark, I expect at least one actual innovation, its just not worth getting if not.

I love Roller Coster Tycoon. I have number one and the two expansion packs (Loopy Landscapes and Corkscrew Follies). I never got around to buying number 2 but I definately want number 3. The problem is though, my computer will crash the moment it's installed -- low memory.

Before I played the Demo, I was pretty sure I was going to get this game, but now I'm not so positive. So I made a list of all the good and bad points in the game I could think of from the Demo version.
Good Things:
The water looks pretty and is reflective.
Have you ever tryed clicking on a duck?
The people can interact with eachother.
Nice terrain.
Coaster cam.
Breakdancing Pandas.
Fireworks.
You can put yourself into the game. (which may be a must more then a can. Have you seen some of those peeps?)
Blowing up people in 3D.
Bad Things:
*pokes bush* *bush falls over* I KNEW IT! CARDBOARD!
The camera controls imitate that of the Sims 2 (which I find easy to use), yet in RTC they confuzzle me to pieces.
Too... many... BUTTONS... (seriously, there are WAAAY too many buttons that I don't know what they do. Worst of all, a lot of them don't even have tooltips to help me out. I'm usually not one to complain about complicatedness in game controls, but geeeeeez...)
Major glitches in the Path-making department
People can sometimes be seen walking thru eachother. (They did in the other games too, though)
YOU CAN'T PICK UP THE PEOPLE AND DROWN THEM!!!
Is it just me, or do some *coughmostcough* of the people look like evil, demented, demon-possesed Chibis from beyond? O_o

Breakdancing Pandas.
WHAT? Breaking Dancing Pandas! How can you not like this game?
YOU CAN'T PICK UP THE PEOPLE AND DROWN THEM!!!
Oh.. that explains it.

Do not tell me that. I loved drowning people!

That pretty much sums up what I was thinking.
And I thought I was the only person who lived for dropping people in the water and watching them drown...

or making a piece of ground and putting a lot of people on it and then deleting that piece of ground so that they all fall in the water

Out of curiousity...
Has anyone ever built up a park, then cut off the exit, completely trapping the people there? And then deleting all the rides and filling the park to the max with panda entertainers? And then ended their suffering by drowning them?
...Just curious.

Nothing I haven't seen in Theme Park World.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 were both one of the worst and ugliest games I have ever played. #3 sounds like it's going to be good, but from what I have seen, it's still looks awful.
