Are you saying that you completed the whole sphere grid? *stares* Oh. My. God....You're insane if you completed that grid. And just really really obsessed. XD
FF8 is currently taking me the longest. I sorta hate the game now, and I can't beat Adel, but I wanna see the ending... ^^;;
Actually I completed it, and then I retraced it, removed the weak +1 spheres and replaced them with stronger spheres.

I've completed Tidus' part, but I got too bored with it, I could probably finish the rest in a couple hours... 100 or so hours spent so far.

The fastest person to beat that game took 2 months. And I'm nowhere near the fastest gamer at anything.
Rise of Perathua or somthing, I'm still playing that game
I love how you can mix fire with water and get steams ect.

Woah. The whole sphere grid. Every character. Replacing them with stronger spheres....WOAH...... I'm getting irritated just finish a character's 'section' of the grid. XD Probably because I've played the game 5 times through, but oh well. ^^;;

freelancer: strictly speaking its impossible to finish, as its open ended though you could easily finish after sucking up the nomads in the dyson sphere.
but thats no fun, jotting around civilisied space in a sabre super-heavy fighter carrying the most illegal things you can possibly find (cardamine) is rather fun, as the civilised police couldnt even scratch my ship.
well, except that battlecruise ofcourse, took my shilds down totally.

hmmmm . . . the game I spent the longest time playing was probably ChronoCross, because I just kept playing my newgame+ to try and get all the characters and all the endings. Chronologically, FFX and X-2 have taken longer because there have been major breaks involved in my playing. The PS2 goes home with Chris over breaks, and to compound it I was in Egypt this summer, so it took me about 6 months to finish the first one and I'm up to about 4 months on the second and I'm only in the second chapter. That said, I've probably spent more time completing Xenosaga since coming back to school than I have playing FFX-2 total.

I played through that game I don't know how many times just so I could get Serge, Kid, and Harle in the same party. It was all worth it though ^^

The Sims ^_^ Oh wait, that doesn't count. Yay for games that don't end.
No, but seriously, I'd have to say the Pokemon games.

It may have been shorter than I thought, but I spend a huge amount of time on Monster Rancher 2. I've also spent somewhere between 200 and 300 hours on Dynasty Warriors 4 + Xtreme Legends (they ARE basically one game, and I'm a little over halfway done I think [that's including maxing everything in the game out]). I'm also in the process of maxing out my sphere grids on FFX as well. Of course, I just started this a few days ago...

I've played 200+ hours playing Super Smash Brothers Melee, trying for trophies and more KO's. Still one of my favorite games.

How could I forget the endless MR2 days in fifth grade? Oh, I remember checking CD's, DVD's, CD-ROM's, and everything from the library to get those certain monsters. Too bad it doesn't work with PS2.

Yup, I have yet to check out all of the things I need from the library, but I think I'll start playing it again, though I'll have ot use my PSX. I went through at least 1000 CDs on that game. We have such a wealth of CDs, it drove my mother crazy when I had stacks of them all over the place.

. I went through all of the CDs in my house, and my friend's house. I just realized how long it took just to generate a single monster. I think MR2 has to be the longest I've played so far, almost daily for over a year.

Definately the pokemon games. I've had a serious addiction to those games, I must have spend let's see...
more then 100 hours on red, same for yellow
about 300 hours on gold, about 80 on crystal,
and together 100 hours on ruby and sapphire, that makes 680 hours total...
I used to read the serebi forums all the time, until someone had a link to neopets in their sig

I think the pokemon games are endless, I mean, there not like those games were your FORCED to end your game, you can conceveblly keep playing, though for what purpose.
I know someone who diecided to raise ALL there pokemon to level 100.
For anyone who hasn't played the games, thats like fully compleating a sphere grid on FF X, or maxing all your chars stats and levels, etc. O_O
