Longest Game?

i was thinking Multiplayer games were the longest games like FFXI online for instance (if it counts)

Definately the pokemon games. I've had a serious addiction to those games, I must have spend let's see...
more then 100 hours on red, same for yellow
about 300 hours on gold, about 80 on crystal,
and together 100 hours on ruby and sapphire, that makes 680 hours total...
I used to read the serebi forums all the time, until someone had a link to neopets in their sig

I think the pokemon games are endless, I mean, there not like those games were your FORCED to end your game, you can conceveblly keep playing, though for what purpose.

I know someone who diecided to raise ALL there pokemon to level 100.

For anyone who hasn't played the games, thats like fully compleating a sphere grid on FF X, or maxing all your chars stats and levels, etc. O_O

Legacy of Time for me.. I know that's pathetic, but I'm not a very serious gamer and I have a short attention span.. so yeah, it took me about four days to finish it. It was worth it. Arthur

I don't have the patients to do stat-max . Takes all the fun out of games anyway. Give me a scrub squad any day.

The longest game for me has to be original Thexder. 16 levels, and most people can't even get off the first! It took me years to get to #12 and that's the best I've ever been able to do.
Or original Pronce of Persia. It took a whole school year and a tag team to finally polish it off.
More proof that games today aren't half of what they used to be.

For me it has to be TES3:Morrowind, i bought it for the Xbox, got frustrated after about 2 months and sold it.... bought TES3: Morrowind: GOTY Edition 4-5 months later, got frustrated after 2 months and sold it in May, bought it again 3 weeks ago...... and I still haven't completed the Main Quests

FFX, I'm actually maxing out Rikku, and she's just behind Auron in strength. (And he does 9999 damage most of the time!)
Star Ocean 2, but that's just because I have just about every single couple thinkable going on. Celine and Claude, Ashton and Rena, Leon and Precis...and every single friendship going on...and it's crazy!

FFX is going quite long for me, I've been maxing out Auron's, Tidus's and Yuna's stats, and doing a few sidequests. Auron and Yuna are both doing massive damage with their celestial weapons. ^_^

Pokemon games also take ages to fully complete. =/

Suikoden 1 and 2 took ages to be 100% complete cos I kept missing things and starting over again and I've still never got Nanimi to be ressurected at the end.

Pac-man. I've been playing this forever, and still not have beaten it. I think there's like, 256 stages or somthing, and I cant figues out the ghost pattern....

Simulation games like Sims, Tycoon and Theme games are always long. They are also in my mind the greatest kind of game.

Tales of Symphonia took me a tottal of 38 hours but that was over a couple of months and then I also started to play it again cuz u get bonuses

It's not exactly a story game, but I guess that's one of my longest*, seeing as I've only unlocked like half the characters and only two stages...my SSBM dream is to complete all 51 events and unlock the Final Destination stage.

*When I say "one of my longest", I mean that I've only ever played like three games in my life, and only one is a story game, which I'm still (I think) near the beginning of...but this is long when you count all the unlockable stuff and completable stuff. (Confused by my babble yet?)

I think I have like 225 hours on my FFX game or something...

I've spent about 50 hours on my pokemon game just seeing how many pichus I could get, I think I have around 60 so far.
