Zombies Ate My Neighbors? Gee, I remember that game. I forgot what level I was on, but I do seem to remember being stuck on some big spider guy on one of the later levels. I'd love to play it again on my SNES, but I don't know how well the console works seeing how it's all discolored. (For the record, those vampire guys who like to follow/stalk you are sooo annoying. lol)
Same thing goes with Earthbound. Great game. Too bad they(Nintendo) decided not to release Earthbound 64. =\
As for games nobody else has mentioned, has anybody heard of Secret of Evermore and Secret of Mana? Both are pretty good games. I just don't like how you can only move in the four compass directions in Secret of Mana as opposed to the free, 360 degree movement in Evermore.

I grew up playing Secret of Evermore. I still put it in my SNES every once and a while and play through. Awesome game!

Mario is Missing.
I don't care what anyone says, this game helped me pass my SS midterm, so I love it!

No, it's too bad they didn't release Earthbound for the NES. I've played a translated version, and it was way too cool for them not to release it!
As for my personal favorites, I'm a bit older so these will be NES titles:
1. River City Ransom
2. Mighty Final Fight
3. Jackie Chan's Action Kung-Fu
all great stuff. Also on the PC, the Eye of the Beholder trilogy never got much fame, but it was probably one of the best PC RPGs back in the early days.

That...was...THE...best...game...EVER! I learned so much useless trivia from it. I would sleep over my cousin's as a kid and we would play it for hours and hours. And I would say proudly to my mom, "Ma! This game is
educational!"
Was just playing it not too long ago actually. Hehehe.

You were near the very end of the game.

I had the SEGA version, but the on and off switch shorted out a few years back. Yes, those vampires are extremely annoying, the level "Dances With Werewolves" annoyed the heck out of me because I was trying my best to end the game with all ten Victims, but on that level, 2 or 3 people always died.

The giant spider was probably the most difficult boss in the game.

Oooo, I know a very underrated game! Sheep...it was for Playstation 1 a while ago and I heard they made a PC version too. I don't know, the plot was weird. Hardly existant, but weird. You have to save sheep from these evil ram things. (The opening movie is hilarious!) For a game where you run around shoving mindless sheep away from danger it's so addicting. As annoying as it is, I love it.

I think the "Worms" series was underrated. I remember installing in on my school computer causing it to lock up and me to get yelled at. XD
I still have to try Worms 3D though.
