Do GBA videos only work on GBA SP or do they work on GBA also?
I really want to buy one but I don't have a GBA SP.
When GBA SP first came out I called it, "Game boy advance for stupid people". O_o

There shouldn't be any reason they don't work because there's absolutely no difference between the two besides the backlight and the frame so I'd go for it! :D

I think its a stupid idea, especially if you have a DVD system in your car, just save yourself some money, and buy the real thing, another thing is that its a smaller screen, and only certain shows are available, I have a GBA SP, but I don't plan on buying movies at all.

Seems like a waste of good money, because the shows they have for it play reruns on Tv a lot, so it would be kind of stupid to pay to see them. IMO. -shruggs-

This GBA Videos sounds great, but it is just something gamers don't need really. Even non-gamers wouldnt buy this.

How is it a waste of money? They make tapes and dvd sets of shows that are easy to find on tv (Friends, for example) and people buy them. The only difference is that this is for the GBA. At the moment it doesn't seem too great but it could become good if they get more of a variety of shows.

I would rather pay $20 for a DVD than a GBA Video because DVD's are greater in every way. DVD has extra content, better quality and better sound. With the GBA, but might have to squint to see something that go on because the screen is only a few inches compared to a normal tv that is susally 19".

If it's any liscensing money for Nickelodeon, than they'll do it.

What they should is create entire seasons on maybe 3 GBA cartriges, and sell it in a bundle. Games like Advance Wars and Fire Emblem would make interesting shows. Or they could make movies out of E-reader cards. They have a good idea, they're just wasting it on "The Fairly Oddparents."

I agree. It's a new concept and they're making it look pretty bad. I'm sure young children with GBA (SP)s will like them, but what about the older players? I personally don't think that even if the shows were better they would sell tons of copies. If the shows in question were interactable then I could see them making it off the shelves.

I don't think it's such a waste.... I mean, yea they only have one show I like ( Fairly odd parents!) but it's also portable and if you don't have a portable DVD player, then it's the next best thing...
