Looks like Nintendo hasn't forgotten about Mario 128.
Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that it will be released for the GameCube when it is released, and not the Revolution (the next system).

FINALLY!

But a bad marketing decision...they should just wait for the Revolution, then release, therefore encouraging sales for the next console. and more profit.

Please do not swallow the mattresses.

Mario's games are fine, however nintendo really needs to create something sucessful and new.

There there Chris. At least we can look forward to the new Zelda game. But I can't wait to see this game. It may be bog standard but at least it'll be Bog Standard by Shigeru Miyamoto!

Oh, that's part of the beauty of it. No one knows. Nintendo's been keeping it very secretive, so all we can do is speculate.
