I love the art. The colors are nice and subdued, which goes well with the text.

shapu: Ah, the colours on that new sig are much better than the former. The size is also much better. Both the av and sig could use a border (although I've noticed that you never do so in every set you've had- probably something you intend to keep?). But otherwise, the green is a unique touch, and the text is witty (although it could use a little more clarity fixing or spacing- it took me awhile to read out the first "Moe"; neat placements, though).

loser1921: the set is cool, though there are some (minor) points: the 'loser' in your avatar doesn't show completetly and the signature is quite empty, other then that, it's fine: 8/10

comments on the set based on the movie we ALL wanna see coming? :P

Thanks, Yoshi. I was having a hard time trying to put what I thought of it in words... and you did it for me...

A border would make it a bit better, and some of the text is hard to read, but other than that, its funny, witty and very shapu! 6/10

Jens- That awsome! I love the border! However, I havent seen star wars, so I dont really get it... 8/10

I would love some more comments on my set before making any changes...

I've never liked borders, meself.

Anyway, consider it tweaked. Thanks.

Anubis:

I agree, it's a bit bright. I would try adjusting the levels of the picture and perhaps make the cat stand out more. I would also say you can try having some effects on the text? As it is I give it 6/10. It's simple but the atmosphere it gives is quite comfortable (except for the brightness).

Moogie

WHOA. It's. SO. nice! The colours match and the background is simple and so the image stands out. the selected part of the image is quite suitable too. I'm not too sure about the black blank space on the left though. It's great as it is now, but perhaps you can do something about it? One last thing: you might want to move the text so it doesn't touch the lips...:P then again, it's great the way it is. 8/10

------------------

Meh. Anyone care to rate this set? I must honestly say it's one of the best ones I did, *is satisfied* And it looks yummy :P

Image Image

Gah. The line underneath "Pattypus" is kinda....weird. Because I have no ability to use the PEN TOOL. *must figure it out some day* >.>

Thankies! :D

Jens - That made me laugh out loud the first time I saw it. Two movies combines...heh... It's rather nice, but the way teh "How Wude!" is floating out in the middle of nowhere is kind of odd... It looks kind of "flat" also. =/ 8/10

loser1921 - I like the colors of this a lot, and the picture is so pretty. (= The text blends in too much, so maybe a little stroke or glow around it would help it stand out more? Making it a tad bigger would help it fill the background space also. 7/10

Jaye - It looks yummy, whatever it is. :P I really like everything about this, especially the text. Only thing that looks odd is the line, but it helps define where the text is. (= 9/10

---------------------------

I have a few things here I'd like for ratings...

LJ Icon #1 (the positioning of the text is aweful here.. x__X)

Jaye- Yummy. I love the colors, and the avatar. The only problem is that it makes me to hungry. X.x 9/10

LAQ- LJ icon 1- Reallt cool I luff the border. But you are right, the text needs more pizzaz! 8/10

LJ icon 2- Awsome. The image is so pretty, and the text is so cool! The sky is my favortie part.. 9.5/10

Set- The image kind of confuses me.. Im not really sure whats going on. But other than that, its great! The colors, cut outs and all else are really cool. 9/10

Yet another new set... Comments anyone?

(Wow, this thread used to be so alive...)

loser1921: I really like your background- there's so many subtle things going on in there. However, the person you have in there doesn't seem to match very well- it's black and white, but your scheme is grey. The sig text is cool- "broken" is written in a broken font, but perhaps you could carry that broken element to more parts of your set, like the border? It might also fill up more of the sig- I see that it's a little empty. Same things go for the av, although "loser" could be done in a more legible font.

LAQ: Excellent work in the LJ icons. However, Twizzler's seems a bit too busy, in that your tilted square is set at a mode such that the griffin (is that what it is?) is discoloured- you could tone it down a notch. If you feel that the text is awkward (although I find it fine), you can tilt it in the way you tilted "Yesh" in the second one (which I find pretty much nothing wrong with), just in the opposite direction.

For Trinity's set, I understand the mood you're trying to set, but the brightness in some areas needs to be brought up- mainly the subtext. "Trinity" in the av is a little awkward; the blue and the red are a strange mix and they end up sticking out a little. The text effect in the sig, however, looks great. Also, I don't see the transparency- but it might just be the fact that IE hates PNG files.

Ratings on this set would be much appreciated. :) Most elements are mainly drawn (other than certain texts- it's pretty obvious). And yes, I realise that my spiral looks like a trachea in the av, thanks to a pointer from Marissa. :P

Ugh, you know I love that set Yoshi. The white subtext feels a little bit bright and contrasting against the dark blue tones of the set. Maybe lower the opacity on it a bit, or try a shade of pale blue?
Also, the "work work work" text going around the outer edge of the spiral in the sig look a little wonky, but that's really to be expected when curving and tilting small fonts like that.

Any chance I could get some ratings for this set I just made:

By the way, 'An Cat Dubh' is 'black cat' in Gaelic.

sapph: i like it. the background is a tad too busy for my taste (that's mainly because i'm too lazy to make backgrounds anyway) but that's the only problem. good work.

9/10

Yoshi: Ahhh, as usual, awesome. I like how all the text is all curved and stuff. Makes me dizzy @_@. 10/10

Chass: Oooh that's really cool :D. Except it's kinda hard for me to read the subtext on the sig. But I like the border ^_^ 9/10

Ratings for my current set?

Fzun: I love it! The colors and patterns work together very nicely^^ It makes me think of summer and the beach or something. The only thing I have problems with is the text on the av; it took me a while to realize it was there. Maybe if you put a darker border around it....

Can I get a few ratings for my new set? If anyone still looks here? x)

Amethyst: You did a really nice job with this set. I don't really see anything wrong with it except that the subtext pops out a bit too much and draws the attention away from the rest of the sig....if that makes any sense. o_O The av is nice too, although the circle design thingies are a little dark. Overall, I really like it.

Since I have more time on my hands I started working on a set. I was wondering if I could get any suggestions on this sig:

Image #3

It's no where near done, but I don't exactly know what to do. None of my fonts really go well with it.
