Probably it is coincidence, but it seems that bad luck on the dailies seems to sometimes happen on all or most of the dailies in the same time frame.

For example, in the 15 minutes that I tried this morning, Coltzan's gave me nothing (for a level 1 pet), that place that doesn't exist gave me a poisonous something (looks like a jelly, and I'll have to donate it rather than feed it to a pet), WOE and WOM both lost all of the NP it took to play them and damaged the pets in addition, and the ray lost my pet 2 strength points.

If the first daily is a bad one, frequently the others are bad, and I wonder if it would be a good idea to wait until the next hour or later in the day to do them when I notice what seems a run of bad luck.

You mean it's possible to have good luck?

I haven't had so much as a random event in about a year, barring the ocassional item during the grave digging.
(The upside to all this being I've not been assaulted by anything either)

I've found myself in that kind of situation many times. I think I might have to agree with you, although I have a feeling that it's just dumb bad luck.

I've wondered that myself. My dailies go in streaks too. They are typically not so great. However, every once in a great while I have good luck with several in a row. Best time in memory was getting 2 codestones at Tombola, a prize at the deserted tomb and a bottled faerie at the WoE.

I always have terrible luck if I collect my dailies just after midnight NST.

FWIW, I collected my dailies yesterday beginning at 12:28am NST and had better luck than usual:

Fishing: Increased a level (and some kind of fish)
Tombola: Toffee Classic & Vo Codestone
Fruit Machine: won 1000 Neopoints
Coltzan's shrine: Gained intelligence
and a Faerie's Fortune at the scratchcard Kiosk
