But you can see an evolution in the art style, especially if you look through JN's item database by release. It was gradual, but Daze is right that there's a jarring difference between yesterday's and today's. The animation's art wasn't glaringly bad, at least -- it was cute -- but the music was definitely a little different, too. I know they weren't quite words, but the voice sounded distinctly human, and not petlike, which I'm fairly certain is a first (though I only ever "listened" to concerts for the avatar, and I was on dial-up at the time, so I doubt the sound really worked... so I have no idea what concert music is like, but for the AC, at least, the human voice was odd for me).

Ah, Thanks Siniri. I always have my sound muted and never would have known about the voice.
