neo change the url's?

umm maybe im wrong but i dont think they were ever petpages.neopets.com before...

I've had that happen loads of times, usually after visiting a petpage, the url seems to get "stuck" on petpages.neopets.blahblah... I think it's because throughout the site their links are just to shortcuts like "/explore.htm" rather than the full url...
It's just a guess though, might be wrong, I just like making up theories

What happened was you visited a petpage, and went to some other petpage, and the petpage.neopets.com URL stuck. =) It happens occasionally, just get rid of the first part, and you are fine.

Happens when editing your petpage, or disowning pets aswell.

*shrug* It's not really that much of a big deal - I've had it happen to me before. But yes, they've had the petpages.neopets.com server/subdomain/whatever for a while now.

On the topic of "changing urls", I have the Neocam on my desktop as an Active Desktop item (yes, I know, I'm evil for using Active Desktop 
). It has always been a URL on the server admin.neopets.com. Last week or so, it got stuck on a photo of some guy's butt in front of the neocam. If you go to the Random Contest page for the Mysterious Neopets HQ contest, you'll see the same one (presumably they have the old URL there too). After a few days, I thought it was sort of strange that it hadn't changed. Also, I was really sick of staring at this guy's rear end. So I went to the Neocam page and sure enough, the URL had changed to content.neopets.com. I'm still trying to figure out why they changed it, and also why they didn't personally notify me It would have saved me a lot of pain, believe me!

I hate it when the petpage URL gets stuck. It drives me insane. Lol. But no, Neopets didnt change the URL. You could go to any subdomain, ex: dev.neopets.com and it could end up being dev.neopets.com/nf.phtml.

That petpages subdomain comes also when you go to vote for a pet in the beauty contest. It can be annying because on the neoboards any url with http://petpages.neopets.com gets blocked like any domain not http://www.neopets.com.
People have to remember to fix that by selecting over the petpages part and replacing it with three w's
