It's actually a pretty fun MMO, you get to be a priate, and play puzzles, and when you complete puzzles, you get money and you can buy priate ships and other cool stuff like that so you can sail around and stuff.

Aye, I agree with Sir Michael. It's an extremely fun game, and if ye choose the Viridian Ocean (Which I did) ye can play for free. If ye decide to hop aboard and have a look, keep an eye out for Mikaela, captain of the Wyvern's Fang. She be my character, and she be looking for crew. ^^

I also downloaded it and have a fun time on it.. But go to the dubloon ocean to start. Cause one the 7 day free trial runs out or whatever it is then you lose all your hard work unless you pay the 10 bucks a month.

But on the viridian ocean (the dubloon one) it is free and you can build up cash. You can also use the cash on teh game to buy dubloons instead of buying them with your credit card

I find it fun and a nice change from neo once and a while

I played it before but it lasted like a trial period of 2wks or something. Unless you Pay, you will be limited to getting newbie stuff... So it is pretty much a P2P game.

No it's not, Chakra. There are different oceans that you can choose to play in - and Viridian is the ocean that lets you play for free. I used some paypal money that I had and would never use to buy some dubloons, but it is completely possible to play for free (one of my friends and second-in-command in my crew plays completely for free and nearly has enough for his own ship). You earn Pieces of Eight for doing jobs with the navy or other crews on pillaging runs, and with those PoE you can buy dubloons, which you use to get items that you order delivered (for example, a swanky feathered hat might cost 3,000 PoE to make and then when it's ready you pay 5 dubloons to get it in your inventory).

I have been playing it since before it appeared on Neopets, and I will suggest that everyone goes and has a look, but if you think you'll be playing it for more than the 7-day subscriber trial, create your pirate on the Viridian ocean.
