Broken Neopoints

Having just caught some while fishing, I went to fix them.

How come they charge now? They didn't when they were first released, did they?

Also, I don't know if anyone has found out yet, but you can get the "Broken" avatar when you fix them.

Donny always charged for things to be fixed.

You can get the Broken avatar for far cheaper.

I haven't looked at the price of a bag of broken NP lately, but it was probably better to sell.

It's worth the fixing of the bag if you've caught it, but not worth buying it in order to fix it in hopes of making a profit.

But it's fun isn't it?

yes..... thered never be a deal like that. If you could get more by fixing them, people would just buy all the broken neopoints and fix them.... and then prices would go up, and then.... it WOULDNT be profitable to buy one. So, thats why prices are steady where they are.... you are more likely to gain more profit from selling the broken neopoints then to fix them....

but why do people buy them?
Why would someone spend 2200np to get 1409np back? AND be charged 349np for the privilege?

Many people have galleries for the fishing items, or just random galleries they want it for. That demand is enough to keep the price up a little for now.

Not unless you bought them at 1NP like I did... I've gotten quite a few deals while collecting my kelp and sea ferns.
