Lost Item Glitch alert EDIT: Went down, now up

Well, it pains me to say it but the lost item glitch appears to be back.

A few minutes ago, I attempted to remove 2 neggs from my shop. Got the white IE "page cannot be found" page. Went to my shop. Two neggs were removed from the shop, but only one showed up in my inventory.

I sent in a bug report.

It isn't a huge loss, but it's the "what if"s that get me. Like what if it had beem my FQD.

EDIT: And, Neo is now down.

Eeps! Never good. Neo seems to be hanging right now, nothing loads for me. The Meepits must've gained control again!

First time I have lost anything in about 8 months. And, I was once known around here as the glitch faerie.

Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come.

Morningstar, I know exactly how you feel.

I just lost my ONE THOUSAND DUBLOON COIN because of this and came here to tell people. You beat me too it, I'm so upset.

I'm not a rich person and this was a bday present to me

Ouch. Be sure to send in a bug report. There is an area specially designated for lost items. It asks for time, what you lost, what occurred, etc. It can't hurt. They have given back items before that were lost due to glitches, so possibly they will do it again.

A thousand dubloon coin lost? Yikes! Definitely get a bug report sent in.

I don't kow if it's part of this glitch, but late last night I bought a pppb, went to paint my petpet - the pb was in my inventory, showed up at the puddle and the petpet was in the dropdown menu to paint that color. Chose the petpet, clicked to paint and ... nothing happened. The pb is gone, the petpet is not painted. It took a couple weeks to save up for that pb, which may not seem like alot, but that is alot of games for me. I've sent to support with a c&p of the neomail saying I won the auction I got the pb from and what happened, so now I'm just hoping.

I've been getting those white "page cannot be displayed" errors for a few days, and sometimes pages are taking forever to load.

Oh, EC, my little icy negg is nothing compared to what you and Taika lost. :hug:

I just hate the fact that we have to be conscious of the glitches once again. Like walking on eggshells. After not having them for so long. *grumble*

Everconfused, unless you're the person I saw posting about that on the Charter Board last night, that same thing has happened to other people too.

Thanks for the warning Morningstar. I'll be sure to be careful. I'm sorry to those of you who lost stuff, its upsetting for sure. Hopefully TNT will right everything today.

Yowch. That's awful, I guess the only thing to be glad about is that it wasn't something major.

I'm sorry to anyone who's lost something in this glitch, and I agree with Morning, you should send in a bug report. (You could get your stuff back, stranger things have happened) Honestly, TNT really should re-think their policy about glitched items. Most of the time, it's their own fault, and about 90% of the people who get hit with glitches are those who can't afford them.

and morningstar> I don't really mind about loosing it, I mean, it was a gift so in a way if it wasn't for that nice person giving it to me, I wouldn't have it anyway. I just don't want to see it happen to others. I'm pretty poor in neo standards (about 200k), But I'm fine.

Erin, yep, that was me!

Something is going on, for anyone who's premium, the portal's down completely right now. And some pages are loading veeeery slow or not loading at all (getting that "this page cannot be displayed" thing).

What's weird is that alot of the odd problems with page loading/games not working right (some of mine aren't) is that it's limited to Neo, I'm not having any problems anywhere else. Not that I have "inventory" elsewhere, but other places using flash or shockwave are working just peachy. I just got cable!!! internet late last week and everything else is moving SO much faster (was a dial up user) - everything except Neo.

LOL EC, people are going nuts on the Premium boards right now. Nobody seems to be able to function without their Portal.

My Portal just came back in the last minute, so hopefully whatever the problem was is fixed. All morning Neo was sluggish for me, and still is just a little. Seems like the old days :lol:

I"m just waiting for the DFM Pteri to appear for hours
