Mystery Pic #425

Tue Jul 26, 2005 11:07 pm

Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Mystery Pic game (Round 424). We have given you 2845 NP!

It's an alright payout. Didn't get the item, but that was expected.

BTW the answer was : Peopatra's Pet Pets shopkeeper

Thanks to whoever posted that last hint in the other thread, it was just the little push I needed. :) Glad I worded it right, I don't think I've ever used so many words before. I put something like "lost desert petpet stall shopkeeper peopatra mane hair beads braids" or something really long like that and it still didn't feel quite right lol.

yeah not a great payout but I did get the item, no trophy upgrade though! :x

Please can someone explain how the trophy upgrades and point system work now? (If anyone definitely knows) 0:)

I don't definutely absolitely know, but:

1 - 10 = Gold
11 - 50 = Silver
51 - 250 = Bronze

That's what it should be, anyway. And what point system??

It think they're refering to the high score list, you get the "points" for that for the number of times someone gets 1st place in the MP (doesn't have to consectutive)

MP Points

You are no longer awarded the Gold or Silver according to how fast you answer the MP. You have to earn points to be on the High Score Table. The points you are awarded are a mystery (I have 3). My guess is you are awarded a point if you are one of the first 10 (maybe more there is no explaination anywhere). Currently you need about 16 points to get a gold. Check your high scores to see if you have any points. Bronze can still be won if you are one of the first 250 each contest.

This kind of trophy really should NOT be accumulative.

I agree -- it's way too hard to be in the top 10 enough times for one point, let alone 16 (or however many it takes for a gold).

I'm looking now, and I've found a couple pictures with the orange color, but no matches yet.

It doesn't make sense since my points according to the high score thing still reflect the number of wins from the previous system (meaning they are multiple 1st places)

Actually, dgrussell, that is untrue. Myself and several of my friends are on the high score list. Getting a gold and being in the gold position are two seperate things, like on some other games like Pyramids, Sakmet Solitare, etc. You can get one gold by being one of the first ten to send your answer. You can also hold a gold place by having the most golds. For each gold you receive, it adds up.

I hope I've cleared up any confusion. :)

Back to looking. This was close but the the light is not light enough and the dark is not dark enough.
