Also -- any petpet that has been zapped is no longer allowed to be considered for the PPL prizes, right?

But can they be used for avatars?

You need to turn in the Secret Laboratory Map in first and zap one of your pets at least once. Then you can go and turn in the petpet map.

And yes zapped petpets can be used for avatars but not winning the PPL.

Yea, you need pet lab before you can use petpet lab, sorry D= I dunno if it's worth it for you to get pet as well but lab ray is something good to have anyway =3

very expensive though.

i'm trying to get up to a million neopoints PLUS the 350k that I would need to finish the lab map, before I actually buy the lab map. I don't want to get up to a mil then go back down by so much... so I have quite a ways to go.

although, since I got the pack rat av, i've sold most everything in my sdb and made upwards of 500k on it.

I've got the full set... Lol... I'm gonna have to trade it for some NP..-- I really don't need it.. But, at least I got every single one for about..930np...for each. .I wonder if thats cheap.. Lol

No worries Sparrow. I did the same thing a while back. Just stocked the petpet lab peices away until I purchased and used the Secret Lab. You're not alone.
