MultiPlayer Competition Q?

I was wondering if somebody could tell me what happens with a Multiplayer game if there are no moves?
I looked online today, at the start of the Kacheekers tourney, and I'm up against somebody who hasn't been on neopets for 28 days. Will I not get to go any farther if he doesn't show up? It's his move first, so I can't even go and make the game look like it was active.

Go back tomorrow, and there'll be a button that will say to click to send a neomail to your opponent. Go back the day after, and sometimes you'll have to do it a second time. By the third time, it'll say click to win, so you automatically win. 
Even if you don't do that, when the game ends, if it was your turn to play, you'll lose. It's really unfair that way, cause that's how some peopel get trophies - don't move for 40 hours, then move safely.
It messes up the whole thing, I really should write into the editorial about that...
So don't worry, you'll move on to the next round anyway. : )
