It was me, in the conservatory with the candlestick. I already admitted to everything, now begone.

Kess, how dare you take responsibility for my fantastic scheming? I did that. Don't steal my thunder. ;)

Tue Sep 12, 2006 9:16 pm

Yeah, whatever. I can fabricate endless screenshots to back up my nefarious cheatin' ways.

LOL kess. I was just killing time.

Here's one you might kess. Who abused their power as an IDB staff member and posted the wrong stats for a weapon at IDB and then tried to trade that weapon? They got caught and corrected the info they put on IDB. Neopets didn't freeze them because it was 'off site'.

Or who was the 1st Neopets staff member to get reprimanded for abusing their power?

Tis an educational day. LOL

What's the real need to know? I would assume in both cases it was private enough matter (with either IDB or Neopets themselves) that doesn't need to be really brought up in such a public manner (as in bringing up specific usernames as you're trying to bring up.) In both cases what's done is done and seems to have been resolved in one form or another.

There is no need for me to post specific names. I was just making a point that things on Neo are NOT fair and equitable as many here like to argue. So, I was just pointing out a few specific instances.

Do NOT assume all frozen account should be frozen or all unfrozen accounts belong to honest players.

Like the 2 well known players who conspired together to win an auction and at least 1 staff member knew about and did nothing. Neither player is frozen now. The 2 players made millions on the deal.

I think this should suffice.

Perhaps you oughter shuffle this thread off to the thread graveyard-of-no-return then.

Or else I will be forced to reveal my cheatin methods, for the low low price of three easy payments of 39.95, while supplies last.

I said I would reveal the method so I will.

They let someone else come into their account to help them battle. You can get a good score if someone is battling 24 hours a day in your account.

Letting someone come into your account to battle for you during a war is cheating just like letting someone come into your account to get a trophy for you is cheating.

huh?

Why exactly are you telling us this? What do you expect us to do about it? And letting someone else on your account is hardly a top secret or even particularly good way of cheating. That rule applies to everything on Neopets, not just wars. Plus, if anyone played Neopets for 24 hours they'd be bound to get a good score at some point, it would make no difference who was on the account. Also, who would actually play on someone elses account for 24 hours? If you really had that much time to spend on Neopets why not just use it on your own account? It makes no sense.

Tue Sep 12, 2006 11:19 pm

It's more like the person they let come in their account battled 12 hours and the person who owned the account battled 12 hours. This is a big deal when you're talking about one of the top scores

sharing accounts in general is forbidden. it would let you rs 24/7, or more effectively play games for much longer than normally possible. cheating in a war is just another variation. personally, i think it'd be stupid to share accounts to cheat in a war, since you can max your victories yourself, withour cheating in the same time frame.

things in neo are very fair, with the exception of cheaters. cheating in anything in life makes things unfair, so neo should be no exception. TNT does their best to stop and hinder cheating, but like all law-enforcement groups, they are not 100% effective.

as far as is known, there are no arbitrary freezings. accounts are frozen for a reason, regardless of whether or not you know of or support them. of course TNT makes mistakes, but they do fix them on occasion. they just can't fix all unfairly frozen accounts because of the sheer volume of unfreeze requests they recieve.

i don't see how one could get millions off conspiring to win an auction. but to have knowledge of this, you'd have to be one of the conspirators and you personally communicated with said staff member. you can't believe everything you hear.

I'm starting to think that not locking this earlier was a mistake. It seems this thread sole purpose is to breed unproven conspiriacy theories than making any tride and true statements.
