Isn't today supposed to be half-price day?

I thought the third of the month was always half-price day.... but...? I'm looking in shops, and granted, it has been a couple months since I've hung out in these shops but these prices seem full-price to me.

I normally restock in the tyrannian food and furniture shops on half price days, also sometimes I try to do collectable cards and stamps. and... it's not just one shop. They all look regular priced to me.

Anyone?

I dunno, I just snagged a Tomamu from the Shenkuu petpet shop for 1.6K, don't they usually sell for 3K?

It's half-price day. While you've been away, inflation has been taking hold in the official shops just like it has been in the neopian economy.

Man, that's seriously rough. I have only missed two months of half-price day restocking (that's the only day I do it) and the prices of items have practically doubled?!

But doesn't that mean you can sell it for double the amount you usually would sell it for, thereby making it a generally same profit as before, right?

I have not really seen prices in the shops jump up. I am restocking in the pharmacy, 4 book shops, the chocolate shop and the stamp shop.
