I dont think TNT had anything to do with it. No offence. Me and my mate, use two differnt computers, using the same router, and we both use Neopets with out any problems.

I dont know. All I know, is my mate and I, use the same router, to access the net no two different computers, and we've never had any problems.

Do any other websites work on his computer? If not, I believe there may be something wrong with your brother's connection. If I remember correctly, your ISP issues you a specific IP address. If you use a router to connect with multiple computers, those computers will all share the same IP address.

As for a solution, I don't think I can be of much help in that department. All I can really suggest is the "turn it off, turn it back on, and pray it works" strategy. lol

Senja's right. Your IP given to you by your ISP is given to your router and to your connection. You can have as many computers running on that router as you like, but as far as Neopets is concerned, it's only one computer because it's only one IP address.

Now, your router will give individual IP addresses to the computers just so it knows which is which, but again, once it leaves the router and goes into the wall, it's all one connection and one IP address.

That being said, what is more likely is that neopets has been blocked on your brother's computer. Have him take a look at his security settings, trusted sites, and HOSTS file.

I had a similar problem with windows, it wouldn't open neopets.com, but it would open http://www.neopets.com
I had to reinstall windows.

Send a message to TNT or put it on your house, {userlook up} that more than one person uses the same router to access Neopets.

Actually, TNT has stated several times in editorials that they really don't look at those notes, if I remember correctly.

I assume you have DSL or cable..... maybe you can try to renew your IP address by power cycling.

Turn off the modem, router, and computer.... any order. Wait about 30 seconds, I usually wait a minute just for good measure.

When you turn everything, FIRST turn on your DSL. Wait for it to sync up.

Next, turn on the power to your router.

Give it a minute or so before turning on the power to the computer then test the connection and try logging on to Neopets.

It's best to use some online IP checker to verify that you IP has changed, for mine, I usually have to wait for 5-15 mins
