Appropriate Chia Pop Prices?

Wed Feb 07, 2007 4:50 pm

I didn't want to put this in the Bill forum since I'm not actually selling anything.

I was browsing the various chia pop flavors available, and I've noticed that most of them don't include a price. The prices I have seen range wildly (up to 5 million for a tomato pop, but only 800k for a chokato pop?), and I was wondering if anyone knew of a list where I could find the average asking price of these things?

Save that, what are the cheapest magical chia pops?

I'm assuming all of the info you have came from neoitems.net?

Actually, no; the few prices I've been able to find were simply asking prices on the TP, and most of the others are just "none" or "don't ask." I was under the impression that NeoItems didn't price unbuyables.

I just find it frusterating that items of the same rarity and purpose have such a wide pricing range based on what people are asking for, and I was wondering if this was accurate or if people are just wildly inflating the prices.

EDIT: Incidentally, checking NI shows that two of the pops are "searchable," but not "active." I can't speak for the carrot chia pop, but I KNOW the pepper chia pop was released months ago. Silly Neo and their inability to activate items they release.

Chokato Chia Pops are the cheapest because they were originally released as regular Chia Pops, and later gained their magical abilities whereas other ones (like Lime) released a new magical version of the Lime Chia Pop and the old Lime Chia Pop was renamed. It's now Non-magical Lime Chia Pop or something like that.

I don't think there really is a definitive answer to the question. There are some that are definitely -not- the cheapest (pea, tomato, apple).

I have a lime chia and iirc, I paid about 650k for the pop a year or so ago.
At the time, it was the cheapest of those that were available and of the fruits that I considered nice enough looking to be worth spending the np on.

The main problem is that the pops aren't always available on the trading post, so you can find out what price some of them are going for, but rarely all at once.
