Hi guys, I just realized that its against the rules if you post your email address on neopets, and its a freezable offence. Its stated in the latest issue of the editorial. The issue here is that I was on the boards earlier on and was looking for people who could lend me their avvie pets, I actually neomailed them my msn (aka email) so we could better communicate when transferring pets. And thats not all, I even posted in the boards telling the person that I just neomailed him my msn! Isn't this giving myself away? Will TNT go to such extent that they review board topics each day and have those people that posted things against the rules frozen? I am so scared now... will I be able to log in later....

Don't worry. If they freeze you, you can explain to them your reason and if it was an acceptable one they'll reacvitate your account!

I did not know that TNT actually listens to explainations. I suppose they assume that in the first place you have read all the terms and conditions prior to playing. So anything that you do after that that is against the rules, its a freezable(no questions asked). Correct me if I am wrong.

I am pretty sure you would have been frozen by now, if you had been reported or if TNT had noticed your post and thought it freezable.
I wouldn't worry about it.
It cases where you are not sure about something, always screenie the topic/post etc so you have proof if you need to correspond with TNT.
TNT are reasonable, I was frozen for a misunderstanding but with a polite email with screenied proof of what the problem was, I received my account back.

garet_jaxx (you probably know him) got frozen and explained to them and they re-activated his acount. However your reason should be a good one.

Well as far as it goes, my account is still active. I guess everything should be all right. I just remembered that I DID NOT post my msn on the boards. I only did it via neomail. *keeps fingers crossed*
edit: I was chatting with this guy on the boards, he said that he was frozen unfairly for "scamming". He said when he tries to log in the next day, it reads "frozen". I really hope this would not happen to me when I wake up the next morning. I suppose after the next morning, I would be safe.

I got frozen for scamming once, but I promised I wouldn't do it again and they unfroze me.
This was over 5 years ago though, I don't know if they're so lenient anymore

You won't be frozen, unless you actually post the email address. Sometimes TNT lets it slide, sometimes they don't.
I think they can also monitor neomail activity for certain keywords, so it's not best to tell email over there either.

Well as for as I know, I did post my email address in the neomail...well that was 2 days back. Can my account be considered safe?

Probably. A lot of little things like that do get ignored by TNT and the icing machine(unless you get mass-reported by other users, which you apparantly haven't). I've had a few minor infractions, but I've never even gotten a warning. Just tread carefully for awhile.

You do have a point there, the 2 persons which I NM to exchange avvie pets are too nice to do such a mean thing to me (but who knows?). Anyway, anyone in the forum did post their emails in NM and got away with it? Thanks for the replies.
