High Scores

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but my search for "high score" returned far too many results to sift through.
Anyways, my question is simple, if you TIE a top score, does it go to the top of the list? Or is it time based.
I'm wondering about this for Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway, because I've noticed it has a simple maximum score, and I like the game enough to actually try and get it.

There's actually a pretty recent thread about the Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway trophy here. I don't really understand any of it, but I suppose it could be helpful

From what I understand (or lack of understanding) it seems that those who got into the Top 100 got a Gold Trophy. If you can manage that, you can get the trophy. But your best shot would be to go at the start of the month to get in early and possibly secure your spot in the high scores. If you need anything else, the old thread might provide some information for you.
