Attack Pea

Where do people get these from? It's rarity is 101 special so it's not a Hidden tower item or shop item. So is it just a totally random event?

Smugglers Cove on Krawk Island.

Very, very rare. Odds are you'll never have one. Only a select few get them. And they probably won't sell it to you, no matter how large the offer.

Oh thanks. I don't even have the neopoints to buy it anyway. Was just wondering where they get it. Also thanks for telling me what there is in the smugglers cove. I was wondering for ages!
How many dubloons do you think they sell it?

If you are wondering where an item comes from you can go to neoitems.net and use the search function to find out. They also have a link to ipricing to get a price graph( although the prices are slightly off)

And at IDB also shows where they come from. And in this case, the cost in dubloons. (I'll post it here anyways)

Attack Pea: 160 Dubloons
Seasonal Attack Pea: 100 Dubloons
Super Attack Pea: 200 Dubloons

I really wish I could get one of these.

I actually have the dubloons for a seasonal attack pea! If I get one I'll be one of the richest neopians! :o *Keeps on dreaming*

BTW, what else do the smugglers sell? Also when do these guys restock?

Cove items are some of the hardest items to get your hands on. Cove items are extremely limited, some people say items are usually limited to somewhere between 50 and 250. As of now, there are 137,349,760 accounts/registered users. Cove items do not restock certain items unless that item goes under their limit. The worst part about this is that a good portion of the different attack pea's are on frozen user accounts. Technically they're still considered to be in existence so they count towards the limit. They're pretty much stuck in limbo. The only real way for an item to restock now is if once of them are removed from someone's account. By "removed", I mean : eaten by a grarrl or a skeith ( they're the only pets that can eat almost anything ) , discarded, broken, zapped by dr sloth or stolen by either the pant devil, grundo commander, shadow usul, etc. I may have missed something but those are the only ways I can remember right now on how permantaly get rid of something.

Your chances on seeing a restock of those old and limited (only 120 each cove item are released) is none. They might as well be considered retired.

The cove also very rarely releases new items. The last release was the sloth-gel on sloth-day. At the moment the cove probably doesn't restock anything at all.

As I remember an item that is "removed" doesn't mean the cove will release any extra. Frozen, deleted, stolen... items will all just mean one item less that is obtainable.

You know, I've been wondering about this, and thinking that there might need to be a change made to this system. Yes, I understand that the Cove items should be VERY rare...but with a continual number of people joining neopets, shouldn't the proportion of rarity stay the same as when the item was released - like they do with the items in the shops? Or at least, release some more since so many are on frozen accounts?

Not that I think that even *with* more of the items, I'd ever have a chance at one, but still...

But that's part of the challenge. They want there to be few of them so people will try to get them. The want people to put in a lot of effort. They just make few of them for a reason, whether we know what that is or not. I am glad that there are so few of them, that way battling is more fair.

Well, not exactly. Not all cove items are that great. The best item is the super attack pea which does 32 icon damages. I think this way some people just get rich easily without working, such as munsterpoo (go check her account.). It's a way unfair way to get rich really. Someone, with luck gets an attack pea and sells it for 60mil+ while some of us such as me play games for months and I barely have 500k.
BTW, I found out about some good BD items. Go and buy a Pustravaganza scartchcard and scratch it and you can win a nimmo finger that's worth 20mil+. :)

If you need help to earn items or NPs, work hard, spend wisely, and don't sit here and whine when you could be earning money.

Next, it's not unfair, it's just dedicated people. Sure they were lucky, but it's just a game, deal with it.

If more were released, it would be chaos.

You are most likely not going to win the Nimmo Finger, and if you did, no one would buy it because it isn't too good of a weapon. And it is also HTS. Good luck with that.

Munster is actually a guy (yeah, I know his profile says female), and he's worked hard for everything he has -- look at the size of his mall, and all his trophies. He had to build a gallery of r99s before going for the Illusens Staff, which would take a lot of time and millions of NP. He certainly didn't luck into his riches.

I agree with Cranberry because she is almost always right. :P

Although I can imagine it would take a while and quite a bit of work to do all of that.
