GRRRR! What is going ON?!

I'm trying to RS in my normal spot (bookshop). I'm having a MAJOR problem.
When I put in my offer and click the neopet in the confirmation box, the stupid server is trying to insist that I haven't clicked the correct neopet. I tried it with a couple low-value highstocked books to see if it was just me. I took my time, hovered exactly over the center of the right neopet and clicked.
Usually it takes about 3 clicks for it to finally submit. Obviously, that's not so good when you're shooting for the really rare books.
I've missed several that are worth over 10k so far tonight because of this.
Is anyone else having this problem? Tonight is the first time I've ever encountered something like this.

I've noticed lots of problems on the site over the last couple of weeks, including refreshing the shop wizard and getting the advertising version of market.phtml.
I think a server had a problem some weeks ago (there was a clock problem), and it was reset, but never correctly configured.
