When King Skarl speaks, his loyal subjects listen. In fact, one of the members of his court is always around to write down everything King Skarl says, to preserve for posterity.

One day the regular transcriber was away, so a slightly hard-of-hearing substitute took his place. Unfortunately, he didn't do a very good job. In fact, he got almost every word wrong, instead replacing the words with other words that, more or less, rhymed with the actual words.

Anyway, King Skarl was reading aloud from the Neopedia, and the transcriber wrote it down as this:

"cry oppose fares bay curtain arm you berating snore gone pith homes bland elastic pennies..."

I did come up with an answer....but I can safely say it wasn't the right one

It makes me wonder why the 'Grumpy Old King' didn't sack the transcriber in a bout of rage...

THAT sentence doesn't even make sense. =.=

Yes, you pretty much had to be in the right place at the right time with this one. In other words, see the news within minutes of it being released. Usually, I am not that fortunate.
